What's the emergency?
Wherever you are, when you hear sirens, launch this app. It will use geolocation to figure out where you are, then check police, fire, 911, and other data to see what emergency activity is going on near you.
It can sort by distance, and also translate 911 jargon into plain English.
Based on my GPS location, connect me to the nearest neighborhood blog(s) and/or event calendars.

Seattle does not yet have a decent app / website to track what food trucks are nearby. This site would keep an index of the popular food truck locations, as well as each truck's schedule. It would also scan twitter and facebook to track last minute changes or cancellations.
What number do you call if you have a non-emergency? Could we offer a single number via Twilio that has a directory so people could find the right number? Or maybe a single website with different organizations and numbers tagged and indexed, so that they can be easily found.
